Finding the words.
A useful bit of practice fits inside the life you already have. Do five. Notice what comes back. Carry on.
The “dex” in Lexidex
You know tengo.
What about tienes?
Knowing one form doesn’t mean you know the rest.
Your words, meanings and individual forms live in a personal ledger. Separate word checks help you put a name to what feels familiar, what takes effort and what comes naturally.
| The form | What it means | How well you know it |
|---|---|---|
| tengo | I have | Automatic |
| tienes | you have | Takes a moment |
| tenemos | we have | Not yet familiar |
01You set the baseline. Rate individual words in a dedicated word check, whenever you choose.
02Practice adds evidence. Recognizing an answer and producing one stay distinct.
03Attention follows the gaps. Bring a word into focus. Meet it again in a different sentence.

Before your next five
A few
good questions.
Do I have to speak out loud?
Only when you want to. Tap answers for quiet practice. Type your own response or use your phone’s keyboard dictation when you want to work on producing the language yourself. Audio is optional, too.
What if I already know a lot of Spanish?
That’s where Lexidex started. Your word checks, focus selections and practice history help it work on the gaps. You can know tengo very well and still need time with tienes. Those are separate pieces of knowledge.
Does it really work offline?
After you download the Spanish pack, the exercises, word checks, included audio and progress tracking work on your phone without a connection. You need internet for downloads and updates. Keyboard dictation depends on your device and language settings.
When can I get it?
Lexidex is in private preview. We’re building for iOS and Android, with Spanish as the first language pack. Public release dates and pricing haven’t been announced yet.
